Introduction of Syed Hussain Sharfuddin Shahwilayat
Syed Hussain Sharfuddin Shahwilayat, ancestor of Naqvi Sadat-e-Amroha, was a great Sufi Saint of 14th Century. He was a Nineteenth descendant of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). His father Syed Ali Buzurg migrated from Iraq to Multan. He was son-in-law and maternal nephew of the Great Sufi Saint Makhdoom Hazrat Jalaluddin “Surkh” of Utch Sharif, who was also his mentor. Hazrat Jalaluddin Bokhari bestowed Hazrat Sharfuddin the mystic Wilayat and entrusted the responsibility to preach Islam in Rohaikhund, Northern India. At that time he preferred to stay in Amroha.
Through his mystical and spiritual powers, high moral values and strength of character Hazrat Shahwilayat guided the people to follow Islamic teachings and values. He gave the message of equity and justice, compassion and benevolence, love and brotherhood.
Living testimony of his spiritual power is that even today scorpions do not bite in his shrine.
Following the teachings of Hazrat Shahwilayat and to keep his legacy alive the people from Amroha established
for providing quality education to the future generations. These institutions are in fact Sadqa-e-Jariah from Hazrat Syed Hussain Sharfuddin Shahwilayat.
